Scholarship
Through generous donations from the Moss Haven Elementary PTA, a scholarship fund is providing scholarships to Moss Haven alumni who are graduating from a RISD High School in 2027. Selection is done by a committee and through an anonymous review of the following criteria: character, as represented through recommendation letters; scholastic ability, as evidence by grades, class rank, and test scores; extracurricular and leadership involvements, including at school and work; community service commitments; and a voice for how the student will serve the community moving forward, as outlines in a 250 word essay.
Purpose of the Scholarship:
MHE PTA Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors at any Richardson Independent School District (RISD) high school, provided they attended Moss Haven Elementary for at least four (4) years. Scholarship monies are applied to the freshman year college tuition/fees.

Scholarship Amount:
The number of scholarship recipients and amount will be thoughtfully determined by the MHE PTA Scholarship Committee.
Eligibility:
Attended Moss Haven Elementary for four (4) years
Graduating from a RISD high school in 2027
Planning on attending a four year college or university
Cumulative GPA of 80% or higher
