The 2017-2018 MHE Yearbook is being coordinated by Kristin McClain. The following information should be helpful for those wishing to provide photos, or purchase a yearbook.
WE NEED YOUR PICTURES!
The yearbook staff is in need of activity pictures of your child’s class. If you have photographs that capture various activities of the entire class (field trips, class parties, etc) please upload them to the yearbook website! You can do via an app or the website:
UPLOAD FROM YOUR PHONE!
Simply download the free “Balfour Image Share” app from the links below, enter our yearbook project number 726206 and additional information and you’re ready to go! Photos can be selected from an existing gallery or taken using the app itself. Each submitted photo will ask for contributor information, photo identifications and a caption. Be sure to enter at least the grade of the children in the picture.
Go to the Balfour website
Enter project number 726206
You do NOT need a PASSWORD (skip that part)
You will have to type in your name, email OR phone number (this is just so we know who to contact)
Upload your pics and you can write a description of the pictures when you upload them (please at least include grade).
Please be sure that all the images are of a resolution of at least 300 DPI.
Plan on making a favorite or bookmark the Public Photo Upload Wizard page so you can go right back to it the next time. Your bookmarked favorite will capture the project number, your name, and your email address. Much easier for those people who will (hopefully) be uploading on a regular basis!
ORDERING THE YEARBOOK
Most orders were done using mhepta.org before school started. You can still order from the website throughout the year.
Additional opportunities to order will be published in the Mustang Memo. There are a limited number of yearbooks available
PERSONAL PAGES AND ADS
Personal pages give you an opportunity to send a special message of recognition. This message can be for your child, a sports team, the Cub Scout den or pack, the Girl Scout troop, a club or other activity group that your child might be involved with. Please note that the space allocated for personal pages is limited and reservations are on a first come, first served basis. Sixth graders receive preferential placement in this section.
Yearbook Ad/Personal Page Information
$75 for a full page 7½ x 9 1/2 inches (portrait)
$45 for half page 7½ x 4 ½ inches (landscape)
Reserve your space by turning in the forms when released in the Mustang Memo or in the school office.
Be sure to include a check made payable to MHE PTA. Please drop the form and payment in the Yearbook envelope in the office.

Prepare a drawing of your ad, clearly identifying where you want your pictures and what you would like the ad to say.

Questions – Email email@example.com
6TH GRADE BABY PICTURES
The sixth grade baby picture spread has been a part of the yearbook for many years. The students enjoy trying to guess who is who from the baby pictures. Participation is not required but is encouraged.
What kind of baby picture should I provide?
The best picture is a head shot of your student. The image you send us will be cropped to include only the child’s head.
How do I get my sixth grader’s baby picture to you?
If you have a digital image of adequate resolution (at least 300DPI), you can upload it directly to the yearbook website (using instructions above) or email it to the yearbook chairs. If you have a photograph and you are not able to scan it, you can drop the picture in the Yearbook folder in the MHE office and we will scan it for you. Please be sure to mark the image with the child’s name and class so that we can return your photograph.
